The Zowie side of my family originated from Germany, where the surname is Zahnweh (pronounced "TSAHN-veh"). I am planning, perhaps Christmas 2008, to send gifts to my German cousins. Does anyone have ideas for what would make a great gift? Something thoughtful and tasteful that would represent the American culture?
For instance, Austrians would send crystal. Russians and Indians might send a chess board. A Chinese person might send a piece of artwork showing a panda...
